Windows 95 on Samsung Gear Live? Why Not?

YouTube user Corbin Davenport is taking portable computing to the extreme with his Samsung Gear Live by installing Windows 95 onto it, yeah that’s right – Windows 95 !

So this may not be something that you probably ever imagined could be done or even wanted to do but Corbin has managed to get windows 95 working on the tiny Android Wear device by using a fee DOS emulator app called “ADosBox“. As you’ve guessed running the retro windows OS does have its issues mainly due to the lack of virtual ram but once its overcome those issues, you can navigate around the system like its 1995 with a sort of mouse pointer.

Running windows on your wearable device is really not a great idea but it does show how technology has evolved over the years to a point where a watch is now more powerful than the PC you used to use back in the day !
