The world’s largest retailer has begun to sell the Apple Watch. Listings for the Apple Watch sport popped up on Wal-Mart’s website starting at $349 ranging up to $399. You can choose between the silver case with a white band and a space gray case with a black band. Both options come in either the 38 and 42MM sizes.
If you’re looking for accessories to go along with your new Apple Watch, Wal-Mart has you covered there too. Listings for the $49 Sport Band in one of 15 colors and two sizes (38 and 42MM) and the $29 – $39 Magnetic Charging Cable also popped up along with numerous third party listings for accessories.
If you’re looking to pick one up to put under the tree, it will indeed make it by Christmas and shipping is free. There are going to be a lot of people receiving Wal-Mart gift cards for Christmas this year and these gift cards may get them in the range of affording an Apple Watch.
This can only be a good move on the part of both Apple and Wal-Mart. This expands the reach of the Apple Watch beyond Apple Stores and Best Buy. With more mainstream stores like Wal-Mart selling smartwatches, it looks like these are here to stay.
If you’re looking for the best deal possible on the Apple Watch, check out Best Buy or Target. Best Buy has the 42MM size of the Sport for only $299, which is $100 less than Wal-Mart. At Target, the purchase of an Apple Watch will net you a $100 gift card and B&H Photo is offering a $50 discount on the watch.
