Verizon announced pre-orders for a steel band version of the Moto 360 smartwatch and then removed that statement
Motorola announced their beautiful Android Wear-powered Moto 360 smartwatch at a Chicago event recently. New Moto X and Moto G smartphones were announced as well, as were the Moto Hint bluetooth headset. You can order your Moto 360 right now (if you live in the US) directly from Motorola or via Google Play Store, though you’ll get the only available version currently available, the leather band version.
Motorola did mention the smartwatch will come with a stainless steel band as well later this year, well, Verizon has briefly announced you can pre-order that version from them and then quickly removed that announcement for some reason. Perhaps they pulled the trigger a bit early. Both black and white steel versions were listed for $299.99 and were to ship on November 11, the original link is sourced down below.
