We have some great news available for our friends up North, in regards to availability of the Sony Smartwatch 3. Anyone who lives in Canada, you can now purchase the Sony Smartwatch 3 for only $279. Sony’s first Android Wear powered device will be available for purchase through select Bell Canada locations, as well as through the interwebs and Sony stores later this month.
The Sony Smartwatch 3 is Sony’s third rendition of a smartwatch, and its’ first foray into Android Wear. Sporitng a 1.6-inch watch face, as well as 4GB of internal storage, with a custom rubber strap, which can be easily swapped out with another compatible band.
Sales in the US for the Sony Smartwatch 3 started back at the end of October, and ever since then, the review’s have been rushing in. Our very own Dan Bartram has reviewed this beautiful looking device, and although I have the Moto 360, I’m thoroughly impressed by what the Sony Smartwatch 3 has to offer.
It’ll be interesting to see how the sales numbers turn out from the Sony Smartwatch 3 in the coming months However, from all accounts so far, it’s becoming a stealthy, but worthy opponent to the Moto 360.
