PUSH Band: a fitness tracker designed for weight trainning

It seems like every new fitness tracker is designed for runners.  Very few fitness trackers are designed for those who lift weights.  Well, if you lift weights there is now a fitness tracker for you, the PUSH Band.  Instead of tracking metrics like steps, distance or calories, the PUSH Band measures power and velocity.  This allows you to track how you are doing when you lift weights or do other workouts.  PUSH claims to offer, “scientifically-validated and actionable metrics that can help you improve your training.”  They also claim that teams from the NFL, NHL and NBA have asked for and used PUSH Bands and the technology that the system uses.  Those are some pretty impressive claims.  At least it sounds like PUSH has tested their wearable on the very best athletes.  The companion app tracks your progress, allows you to follow fitness plans and set goals.  It should work with both Android and iOS.  The PUSH Band costs $189.00 and is available now.
