Mystery Sony smartwatch appears on hardware maker's Facebook

Sony may have accidentally tipped its hand as it pertains to an upcoming smartwatch announcement. The hardware maker posted a picture of an unannounced smartwatch and tablet on its Facebook before being removed. It’s nearly impossible to pull anything factual from the image however we know it’s unlike the previous generations of smartwatches. Given that it’s shown next to a pool and with a splash of water we might assume it can withstand being wet and/or submerged for a bit.

Sony will be in Berlin next month for IFA so we should expect to see the device, and all of its details, in short order.
