LG to provide the curved display for Apple's iWatch
A new report from the same KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has been accurate in predicting Apple’s movements in the past, has come out suggesting that not only does Apple plan on shipping 9 million iWatch units on release, but LG are to provide the displays.
Kuo has previously mentioned that the iWatch will come in a 1.3-inch and 1.5-inch variation and will feature flexible AMOLED displays, which according to Kuo could price the iWatch at well over $1000.
Furthermore, despite LG being confirmed as the main iWatch display supplier according to the source, the company do not plan on using the same display on their upcoming LG smartwatch running Android Wear.
