The long wait of understanding what exactly powers one of the first Android Wear smartwatches is finally over, with Google announcing the LG G Watch’s availability today at Google I/O.
Under the hood, the LG G Watch is powered by a Snapdragon 400 chip, together with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and a 400mAh battery.
In addition, the screen is a 1.65-inch 280×280 LCD IPS panel with a Gyro, Accelerometer, and Compass sensors built-in, topped off with Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
Whilst much of these wasn’t exactly a surprise, the internals are surprisingly powerful for a smartwatch, and it all only weighs 63 grams.
