KidFit: The activity tracker for your kid

0

Ever since I got my first activity tracker, my son has wanted one too. But, there was no way I was going to drop $100+ on an activity tracker for him to wear for a week and then lose interest or break it. He, however, has been pretty persistent about getting some kind of wearable device. Who knows where he gets that from?

KidFit by X-Doria might be just the device he is looking for.

It doesn’t look like some knock-off toy.

It functions like a big-boy fitness tracker.

It costs less than $50.

The KidFit activity tracker links to your mobile device via Bluetooth, holds a charge for up to 7 days, and is re-chargeable via USB.

Unlike your normal fitness tracker, the KidFit doesn’t show you your number of steps, flights of stairs, or calories burned. Instead, you get a score based on your activity levels for the day. Your goal is to earn 100 points each day. This is supposed to encourage kids 5-13 to build healthy habits. After all, if you get good at earning your 100 points each day while you are wearing the KidFit, then you will be more likely to continue those same activities after you stop wearing it.

The KidFit comes in 4 colors; black, blue, pink and yellow. Just slap it on and go (literally). Multiple devices can sync to the same iOS or Android App so all this kids in your family can wear one.

Did somebody say $49.99 stocking stuffer?
