The Samsung Gear S is a different animal when compared to most smartwatches. The Gear S actually has it’s own cellular connection, so it can be used with or without a smartphone. The Gear S has a large, curved screen that wraps around the wrist. This gives it an appearance all its own, something that I quite like. The Gear S should be released internationally in October and in the U.S. sometimes this fall, no word yet on price.
