Google Glass gets XE18.1 update in time for world cup

Google step’s up its software updates for Glass with a release that jumps straight up to XE18.1 and also an update to the My Glass App which is rolling out now providing some major additions to Glasses functionality that include Photo Sharing, Google Now cards and more.

Users will now be able to view photos taken with Google Glass pretty much instantly on their phone when opening the updated My Glass App and can share the image just by taping it and selecting the photo-sharing app of choice.

 

 

Just in time for the World cup, you will be able to follow your favourite teams progress on Glass using Google Now cards.

 

 

 

Forgot where you parked, worry no more because your parking location card is now visible just by looking to the left of your Glass home screen.

 

 

Set up package tracking in Google Now and you’ll get notified in Glass when items are shipped and delivered and battery status notification can also been seen on your phone when using the updated Glass App, you’ll now be notified if your Glass battery drops below 20% charge.
