When it comes to mobile technology, innovation has somewhat reached a plateau, as all the ideas out there are either too expensive or too far away. Cicret has brought something innovative, and while it is not currently available, they are working hard to bring their innovative new bracelet to a wrist near you.
The Cicret Bracelet
The Cicret Bracelet is a wearable that projects an Android OS onto your skin. Yes, you read that right. Onto your skin. Don’t believe me? Check out their video below.
The bracelet works by using a pico projector in collaboration with 8 long rage proximity sensors. What this does is allows you to not only see your phone’s screen on your arm, but allows you to interact with it as well.
While the video above shows promising results, Cicret still doesn’t have its first full prototype. They’re currently accepting donations on their website, which you can find below. With smartwatches doing anything they can to break the market, the struggle is still in the limitations of the small screen. The Cicret does a great job of providing a small wearable with a large screen.
