While Google has been ramping up its Explorer program for Glass the last few months, it seems we just got our first tidbit of information about the general public release.
According to a leak from Evleaks, “AT&T USA will be one of the first retail locations to offer Google Glass for sale to the public.”
Up until now, Google Glass has only been available to those in the U.S. as part of the Explorer program and at the steep price of $1,500 a pair.
Hopefully we’ll get some more information at Google I/O in just a few weeks on June 25 and 26 in San Francisco. Who knows if it will be the same design as the XE or tweaked, but hopefully the public release will be much cheaper.
