Apple trademark extended to include 'jewelry, clocks and watches'
To add fuel to the rumour mill that Apple are working on an iWatch that they plan on introducing at WWDC 2014 in June, Apple has just extended the international trademark of their name into jewellery, clocks and watches.
Apple has applied for Class 14 protection in Ecuador, US, Europe, Mexico, and the UK which since Apple do not make any product currently which resides in this category, only adds speculation that an iWatch is coming.
Apple has already applied for the iWatch trademark as early as June 2013, so it seems only a matter of time before we see what Apple has been working on.
