Acer’s first wearable device could arrive mid-2014

Acer’s first wearable device could debut sometime in the middle of the year, says The China Post. What’s more, the unit may be more akin to a fitness band than a watch. As we might expect, the device will feature a small screen and will pair to smartphones and tablets. Reportedly, the band could be launched with partnerships with fitness centers and/or local hospitals. It’s unclear whether this going to find the same treatment outside of Acer’s home market of Taiwan but we could certainly hope.
